There are rumors that iPad launch could be delayed, the source of these rumors is an analyst who claims that manufacturing bottlenecks may reduce the number of iPads available at launch or could delay it entirely, the info has been shared by AllThingsD. For those who don't know, Apple launched iPad in Jan and Steve Jobs gave a hazy late March shipment date.
There haven't been any words from Apple on iPad's shipment lately, this rumor is the latest development in this regard. As stated above, the only source of these rumors in an analyst named Peter Misek, so there is a high possibility that this is just a speculation and Apple will start iPad shipment as per plan.
This is what Peter Misek claims - "an unspecified production problem at the iPad’s manufacturer, Hon Hai Precision” may limit the initial launch to the U.S. only. In addition, Misek claims that the delays will limit the launch to 300,000 units."
