Adrain Ludwig of Adobe Systems is shown a demo of Flash 10.1 running on Motorola Droid, a smartphone powered by Android OS. Motorola Droid is the first Android 2.0 device which got the full flash player 10 working on it. In demo, different flash based websites including New York Times, BBC News, Angry Alien are browsed. It's a great software enhancement for Motorola Droid, as it possess Arm Cortex A8 550 MHz processor, which is almost half of clock speed of Nexus One's 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor but still it's able to run Adobe Flash 10.1 almost same as Google Nexus One. Amazing!
Remember when Antonio Flores of Adobe Systems said that only those smartphones will be able to run Flash 10.1 which have ARMv7 (Cortex) chipsets. Out of 10 most widely used smartphones in U.S. only Google Nexus One and Motorola Droid fulfilled this condition. All others phones which have less hardware capabilities like HTC Hero can run Flash Lite if possible.Contact Us for News Tips, Corrections and Feedback
