To help and facilitate those who suffered in Chile's recent earthquake Google has launched a 'Person Finder' application, this app will connect those looking for missing people in Chile and those who have information.
Using Person Finder is pretty simple, it has a very simple and self explanatory UI, it gives two options "I'm looking for someone" and "I have information about someone". One can either search for missing people in database and enter a new info, current stats of application say that there are around 8300 records in database.
The Person Finder is the same app used following the Haiti earthquake, with few modifications only. It's good to know that tech giants are stepping forward as well to help people in these climatic disasters.
