Remove YouTube Video Ads In Google Chrome And Mozilla Firefox

You might have noticed popup video ads on YouTube by Google as soon as you play a new video. There are number of Firefox extensions available to remove these ads in Mozilla Firefox and now Chrome fans can also remove these ads by installing Gresemonkey script in Google Chrome. However you may also use the same Greasemonkey script to remove these video ads in Mozilla Firefox too.

Remove YouTube Video Ads In Google Chrome

  • Configure Google Chrome to run Greasemonkey scripts from here
  • Click here to go to Remove popup video ads from YouTube at userscripts.org.
  • Click on the Install button.

Remove YouTube Video Ads In Mozilla Firefox

  • Install Greasemonkey Firefox addon from here.
  • Restart Mozilla Firefox.
  • Click here to go to Remove popup video ads from YouTube at userscripts.org.
  • Click on the Install button.
  • Greasemonkey will ask you to install the script. Click Install / Yes button.

    http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/40361 worked for me! I just went to the main site (userscripts.org) and searched for youtube ad. Though, the cat and monkey were nice too. - Celia
