[Rumor] Apple Tablet Specs, Release Date And Price

More and more rumors are emerging about Apple Tablet and iPhone 4G as year 2010 is approaching. Most probably Apple will announce this iTablet officially in the upcoming mega event to be held at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco January 26, 2010. Foxconn a famous manufacturer used by Apple for the development of iPhone, Mac Mini and iPod line is already working on 10 inch screen of the Apple's Tablet.

Acc. to DigiTimes Foxconn’s screen division Innolux will provide Apple 10 inch screen for its upcoming Tablet and its panels are being strength treated by G-Tech Optoelectronics, a division of Foxconn. Moreover acc. to Macrumors Cheng Uei Precision Industry will be providing "connectors" for Apple’s new tablet computer. According to the reports, the company is likely to begin shipping the tablet in the 3rd quarter of 2010 in two screen sizes i-e 7-inches and 10 inches display screens.

Moreover acc. to sources at BGR, Apple has asked a few selected developers to prepare apps that could run on larger screens rather than 320×480 resolution screen of an iPhone. This news have given strength to the belief that Apple in its labs, has been discreetly preparing the long-rumored 7-inch tablet device to be made public in an event held in January 2010. Rumor also has it that a 9, and 11 inches tablets will follow this 7-inches tablet soon after.

PA Semi is the "boutique" chip-make Apple recently acquired, while other suppliers are named as DynaPack for batteries (300,000 units a month on order, apparently), Wanshih for cables and Wintek - which supplies the iPhone's touchscreens - for the 9.6-inch displays.

Acc. to Engadget the Apple Tablet will hit the market in the first quarter of 2010 with initial shipments set in the 300,000 to 400,000 range. This iTablet will be coming with built-in HSPDA module and a PA SEMI processor chip with an impressive battery timing.
