George Hotz has been releasing teasers about his upcoming tools named balackra1n RC3 and blacksnow for unlocking 05.11.07 baseband iPhone 3G/3GS running on 3.1.X firmware. blacksnow will be released as an elementary part with balackra1n RC3 tool and will be released on November 4th for free. As per latest tweet by GeoHot, Blacksn0w will also enable Internet Tethering on iPhone 3.1.2 firmware.

This is indeed and great news as now you don't have to manually enable tethering on iPhone using third party apps, now you can use internet on your laptop or computer right after unlocking your iPhone with blackra1n RC3.
