Verizon Wireless today unveiled "Motorola Droid", the first mobile phone using new "Google Android 2.0" OS. Motorola has been working hard on smart phones domain for quite some now, looks like their hard work is paying off now! as Droid is certainly a strong competitor to Apple's iPhone!. Following is a brief review and comparison between Motorola Droid and popular iPhone 3GS.

Droid is available for $199 (after a $100 rebate) with a two year contract with Verizon Wireless. Let's see how far Droid goes in Touch/Smart phones arena, but I would say it's a really nice effort from Motorola and Google, though it would hardly hamper iPhone 3GS sales I think, but if Motorola can build this, they certainly can improve!
