WinMacro is a FREE macro recorder / player for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. Hardly 116kb in size, through WinMacro you can easily automate your Windows tasks. There is no need of any installation as WinMacro is portable. WinMacro records activity of keyboard and mouse pointer in a text file and the same text file can be used to play the respective macro.

WinMacro is written in Microsoft Visual C++ and it uses windows hooking mechanisms to record your mouse and keyboard events instead of recording whole activity as a video. I am sure you will be surprised by the power of this small macro tool.

    Readers,

    I have doownloaded,, unzipped, run... On the first MACRO I was trying to record it did not work. TO stop the macro the SWR says click on PAUSE BREAK Key... to no avail nothing happens. Them when I ESC out of it the TEST macro I had supposedly recorded just was a "0" file size,n othing was recorded.

    Maybe somebody had a better chance with this little wonder, but I had better luck with other MACRO SWR that I am road testing... AUTO MACRO RECORDER being one of them... it works at least.
