How To Install Emesene Via Terminal
- First you have to add the Launchpad PPA repository by using the following two terminal commands
- Use the following command to install emesene
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys E2314809
sudo echo "deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/bjfs/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install emesene
(OR) if you want to upgrade, then use this command
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
Navigate to Applications->Internet->Emesene to lanuch Emesene Messenger
