How To Use TwitterFx On Google Chrome?

  1. If you haven't configured Google Chrome for running extensions, then please read this guide to know how you can install CRX extensions.
  2. Download TwitterFx.zip [Find download link at the end of this page]
  3. Extract TwitterFx.zip to a folder name TwitterFx on your desktop.
  4. Now open TwitterFx folder from desktop and right-click on twitter.html. Choose Open With and then choose Notepad or Wordpad.
  5. var user = "YourUsername";
    var password = "YourPassword";

  6. Find the above two lines in the twitter.html and fill your twitter username and password in YourUsername and YourPassword fields.
  7. Now click Save button or simply press (Ctrl+S) and close the file.
  8. Now open Google Chrome (configured with extensions in step 1) type chrome://extensions/ in the address bar. Hit enter.
  9. Click on Load unpacked extension... button and choose TwitterFx folder from the desktop.

Thats all. Enjoy all tweets of your friends right from your Google Chrome browser.

    hi, i did all the steps mentioned above, but everytime i close google chrome, and reopen the browser, the twitterfx disappear and i have to “load unpacked extension” again. is there a way to avoid doing this every time i open the google chrome browser? thanks

    Hi, you have to use the “Pack Extension” functionality from chrome://extensions/
    then it build a new file TwitterFx.crx.
    Close the browser and open the TwitterFx.crx, with Google Chrome…

    After install, the extension don’t need to be reinstalled again ;)
