I always keep portable Google Chrome and portable Mozilla Firefox in my flash drive for my office, because i cant install any software on my desktop system in office due to administrative restrictions. These two portable browsers worked like a charm until i have to browse some websites based on flash content especially websites like youtube and miniclip etc. So after Googling i found these two methods for installing adobe flash player into your portable Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
Adobe Flash Player For Portable Google Chrome
- Download Portable Google Chrome.
- Download plugins.zip.
- Extract plugins.zip in the same directory in which Portable-Google-Chrome.exe is placed
- The plugin directory will contain two files i-e NPSWF32.dll and flashplayer.xpt, these two files are necessary to run flash content in your Portable Google Chrome browser.
- Restart Google Chrome and enjoy flash content.
Adobe Flash Player For Portable Mozilla Firefox
- Download Portable Mozilla Firefox.
- Download plugins.zip.
- Run FirefoxPortable_3.5.1_English.paf.exe.
- Extract/Install it into your flash drive i-e FirefoxPortable.
- Navigate to FirefoxPortable\Data\plugins
- Copy NPSWF32.dll and flashplayer.xpt into the plugins folder after extracting plugins.zip.
- Restart Mozilla Firefox and enjoy flash content.

Great walkthrough, worked like a charm!
hi,…thanks for the plugins – work like a charm although for chrome, plugins folder should be copied under “\PortableApps\GoogleChromePortable\App\Chrome-bin” then it will work. thanks again!
