Well Digg have recently released its toolbar which is quite annoying to me. Actually digg is trying to copy the concept of StumbleUpon toolbar, of course its a complete failure idea. Now here are some steps to remove Digg-Bar from your blog so that when people may come to your site/blog from digg then they wont be able to see this annoying Digg-Bar.
But Why?
If you see carefully, the URL in address-bar is still pointing to Digg.com instead of the URL of your website which increases the traffic of Digg.com instead of increasing the traffic of your blog or website. I have also heard that digg is planning to add an ad tracker in the toolbar which means they are clearly adding advertisements to your website or blog.
Solution:
The solution is simple. Just add the following code in the head section of your website.
<script type="text/javascript">
if (top !== self) top.location.href = self.location.href;
</script>
If you have got a blog on WordPress then removing DiggBar is simple possible by installing FrameFree plugin.
